My first backpacking trip in Vietnam!

My properties for the Vietnam trip

I am off to Vietnam tomorrow! My feeling is of course full of excitement including a bit of uneasiness. This anxiety comes from the uncertainties that I would face in the trip. (fyi, I have yet booked any accommodation  because a backpacker told me that "you would experience much more by not planning so much ahead, just be impromptu and you will be more flexible.")

Since this is my first backpacking trip, the first thing I would worry about is what should I bring with me. Taking the advice from former backpackers, carrying light is a must and so, I decided to carry only necessities to make my backpack as light as possible. Below is the thing I bring for the trip! I know my backpack is not appropriate but that's the only bag I have now. :(

With all this preparation, I hope this 9-days trip would be fun, safe and memorable. I would update a post everyday to keep a record for my journey and keep track with all my experiences in the trip! Wish I could make lots of friends throughout the trip too. Bon Voyage!
